It is many years ago, and there have been many changes from time to today. Today, 2010 BAFO DO MUNDO patterns a bateria over 20-30 musicians and a dance group of more than 20-40 passistas, and 10-20 harmonias (helpers), when we go to the carnival parade. For shows and other events can we be from 10 to 80 participates. BAFO DO MUNDO is a non-profit association inspired by the Brazilian sambaskoler in Rio de Janeiro. Besides sambaen in Rio seems we are inspired by the music and dance from Salvador in Bahia. Here are the Afro-Brazilian flavour strongly represented in particular by Samba Reggae different variations. In addition, we are working continuously with other Afro-Brazilian styles. BAFO DO MUNDO is in progress throughout the year. We spend much of our practice to prepare for shows and parades. In addition, we make costumes and parade wagons. BAFO DO MUNDO are also social events for its members, where everything and festivals, since the time of practice does not always allow for the kind of access. We emphasise the need to be fun to be in the BAFO DO MUNDO, and that it is sliddet worth spending Sunday after Sunday - in addition to the other day - to qualify themselves to make out that the act of carnival or companyparty. BAFO DO MUNDO means Worlds breath, or wind from the World. For us it means something that comes to us from outside, and we give back inside. ~ For a Brazilian, the term "que bafo" means something like to have bad breath, but it is a completely different talk~.
